I am not a winter person. I hate the cold and damp that started in the Fall and seems to be linger longer than usual after a particularly cold, snowy winter here in the Northeast. Spring started over a week ago but you'd never know it since it snowed again with temperatures well below freezing.
I truthfully do not know how New Englanders do it.
By now, I should be looking at early buds on the trees, hyacinths and tulips. Nope. Even the forsythia has bloomed yet. I did see a Robin who looked rather distressed, no worms. So I refilled the bird feeders with the last of the wild bird seed.
We had one semi decent day to tease but today it's windy again with a flood watch that will last until Monday morning. It wouldn't be so bad if the temperatures weren't in the 30's and 40's. If I hadn't needed to go get some groceries, I would have stayed huddled with the cat in bed. She looked quite miffed when I got up.
The rest of the week only slightly improves lots more rain but a bit warmer. Perhaps Winter will finally surrender.
So what is your problem this week?
